Instead of booking some preestablished hosting package, players can now easily create their own Arma Reforger server on Windows by using a mouse and keyboard. All they need is a little bit of knowledge. Over on GitHub, a developer has been working on a Dedicated Server Tool that includes Graphical User Interface, unlike the original server creation tool.
The GUI can be found below, allowing perfect server configuration without any additional struggles. The program provides a .cfg generator, saving creators time and effort. Have you always wanted to create your own Arma Reforger server but didn’t exactly know how? Well, now you may finally be able to, without any additional effort.
As shown in the image above, it allows quick actions before the server’s setup. It also supports mods, which can be added by clicking the button at the bottom right. The server tool allows you to save and load your configuration files, so you continue where you left from, including an automatic server restart tool based on creator input. Below you can find its official features.
Arma Reforger Dedicated Tool Features
Create Arma Reforger Dedicated Servers on Windows with this easy-to-use GUI tool!
- Load and Save server configuration files
- Automatically schedule your server to restart (minutes/hours/days interval)
- Powerful mod management with the ability to import mods from saved configurations
Once created, it turns on the server console and provides an overview and management of the server. However, for this to work, make sure you download the Arma Reforger Server, which should be in your Steam library.
There is no executable to start the software. How does it fire up?
