Arena Breakout: Infinite Season 7: Utopia will add zombie modes and gear caps on September 16

The upcoming season will also introduce the A545, AK-15SC, four seasonal attachments, and new post-combat feedback tools.

MoreFun Studios announced that Arena Breakout: Infinite Season 7: Utopia will launch on September 16, bringing two zombie modes alongside weapon additions, gear restrictions, and combat balance changes. The developer detailed the update in its Steam announcement.

Utopia will split its zombie content between a PvPvE mode for extraction-focused squads and a pure PvE mode built around increasingly dangerous hordes. Both modes will also add new progression and trading systems outside the usual raid loop.

Zombie modes cover PvPvE and PvE raids

Infected Zone will combine Arena Breakout: Infinite’s tactical extraction format with six zombie types. It will be available on Farm, Valley, and Airport, with two difficulty levels tied to existing raid tiers. Valley will use Infected Zone difficulty, while Farm and Airport will use Heavy Infected Zone. Those levels correspond to Lockdown and Forbidden, respectively.

Zombie Endless will offer a co-op PvE alternative on Airport, which will unlock at Lv.8. Zombies will grow stronger throughout each run, pushing teams to eliminate enemies, complete missions, and upgrade their weapons and skills in pursuit of more merits.

Both modes will add systems that continue outside the raid. A new merchant will let players trade for items and information during raids, while the Zombie Research progression line will use points earned in Infected Zone to unlock special perks.

MoreFun Studios also plans to publish an announcement trailer for the season.

New weapons arrive with tighter combat limits

Season 7 will add the A545 and AK-15SC. The A545 will sit alongside the U191 and H416 as a top-tier weapon, while the high-damage AK-15SC will focus on close-to-mid-range fights. Four seasonal weapon attachments will give players more ways to build around weapons that previously had fewer practical roles.

Combat changes will also affect range, headshots, ammunition, armor, and visibility. Effective range and headshot effectiveness will increase, while ammunition and gear caps will vary by mode. Normal raids will allow T4 gear and below, and Lockdown raids will allow T5 gear and below. The update will also remove T5 and T6 armor penetration RNG and reduce flashlight effectiveness.

End-of-raid feedback gets more detail

Utopia will add new dog tag inspection animations, detailed damage dealt and received for the final 30 seconds of a raid, and options to share raid highlights and achievements. These additions will give players more information to review after a fight instead of ending the feedback at the extraction or defeat screen.

Season 7: Utopia will launch in Arena Breakout: Infinite on September 16. The zombie raids and stricter equipment rules will give squads very different reasons to adjust their loadouts when the season begins.
