Embark Studios has confirmed that Arc Raiders will support RTXGI on PC and has published the final system requirements ahead of its release on October 31. RTXGI is NVIDIA’s real-time lighting tech that uses ray tracing to simulate indirect lighting and reflections. It should make environments feel less flat and more responsive to changes in light. RTXGI also works on non-NVIDIA GPUs, so AMD and Intel cards can also enable it.
Arc Raiders runs on Unreal Engine 5, yet the PC build will include RTXGI rather than relying solely on Lumen. Alongside RTXGI, the PC version will support NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Generation, which should help improve performance while enhancing image quality. An Open Test called Server Slam is scheduled from October 17 to October 19 and will be available to everyone. That test will support DLSS 4 and should include RTXGI support, allowing players to try those features before launch.
Final PC requirements were also published. Minimum specs include an Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600, 12GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, AMD Radeon RX 580, or Intel Arc A380. Recommended specs list an Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, or Intel Arc B570.
