Arc Raiders players are growing frustrated with a lack of information from Embark Studios as the second Expedition window draws near. With just over three weeks left before the event’s final qualification phase, many raiders say the studio still has not revealed the specific requirements or any pricing for participation.
Veteran players point to the first Expedition as the practical baseline for what to expect. In that original event, meeting the top-tier reward required collecting a combined cash and stash value of five million coins. The first Expedition also forced teams to funnel large amounts of gear into caravan stages, including weapons, shields, provisions, and other items worth hundreds of thousands of coins.
Because Embark has not confirmed whether those thresholds will be reused or changed, many players are hoarding valuable gear and cash rather than spending at merchants or engaging with other gameplay loops. One Reddit commenter urged the studio directly: “Embark, the expedition ends in less than 23 days. Please tell us what we need to do.” The comment appears on Reddit here:

Other players cited time constraints and uncertainty as reasons they may skip the Expedition. One Reddit poster wrote, “Kinda cemented my decision to skip doing Expedition. I don’t have that kind of time, nor do I wanna play the same game every night.” Another commenter criticized the game’s communication, adding that having community managers on staff has not translated into clear guidance.
Players also say the limited schedule of live events such as Bird City makes it harder to amass the required funds inside the remaining window. Some hope Embark will reuse the five million combined value requirement, while others simply want a concrete number so they can plan.
