Arc Raiders has sold more than four million copies worldwide, a milestone that Nexon says makes it the publisher’s biggest global launch so far. The game’s Steam concurrent peak climbed to 462,488 players on Sunday, November 9, narrowly edging out Helldivers 2’s earlier peak of 458,709 players. Rapid player growth and those big numbers have helped push Arc Raiders into mainstream conversation well beyond the extraction shooter crowd.
Early momentum came from a mix of slick shooter design, a neon cassette-future look, and an inexplicably charismatic NPC chicken called Scrappy. The title carries a USD 40 entry price and still pulled a large audience in during launch week. Our earlier report on Arc Raiders’ Steam concurrent players tracked the game’s fast climb toward these peaks.
Nexon confirmed the sales milestone in a Nexon press release. The company said a content roadmap will follow starting this month with new maps, ARC machines, weapons, and quests to keep players coming back. Arc Raiders’ success arrives as extraction shooters enjoy renewed attention. Escape From Tarkov recently reached 1.0, and new contenders such as Exoborne and Marathon are on the way. That crowded calendar means Arc Raiders will need steady updates to hold the spotlight.
