The PlayStation Plus Essential games lineup in April is here, bringing some interesting choices for PS5 and PS4 players. This month’s offerings include RoboCop: Rogue City, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory.
You can claim these games starting April 1, and they will be available until May 5. A standout this month is RoboCop: Rogue City, which received a warm reception from critics upon its release in November 2023. It will have a sequel titled RoboCop: Rogue City—Unfinished Business, in which players will once again don Alex Murphy’s iconic metallic suit to battle criminals across the city.

If you’re looking to download March’s offerings, including Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, you’ll need to act before March 31.
In other news from Sony, plans indicate a change away from including PS4 titles in future monthly subscriptions. Starting January 2026 onward, “PS4 games will no longer be a key benefit” of PlayStation Plus offerings as the focus turns toward more PS5 titles instead. This change might spark mixed feelings within the community as many players still relish their time with last-gen experiences.
