Apex Legends’ Wildcard AMA Will Run October 14
Lead Technical Designer RSPN_JeffWright and Senior Technical Game Designer RSPN_Danja will answer questions from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT.

Respawn will hold an Apex Legends AMA focused on Wildcard on Wednesday, October 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT, giving players two hours to ask about the mode in the Steam announcement.
Lead Technical Designer RSPN_JeffWright (they/them) and Senior Technical Game Designer RSPN_Danja (he/him) will take questions, with the team aiming to answer as many as possible. Players can submit questions ahead of time and return during the session for replies.
Respawn is asking players to keep questions focused on Wildcard, limit them to one or two related points, and keep the discussion polite and in good faith. The team will collect feedback to share internally, while players with off-topic questions can suggest a subject for a future AMA.
The discussion comes after the October 1 Wildcard update cut Fighter’s Defense from 55% to 50%, lowered the maximum stored Ultimate charges for Ryu, Chun-Li, and Dhalsim from three to two, and enabled passive Fight Gauge regeneration when players are outside Fighter Form and below one pip.
Which Wildcard change do you want the team to address during the AMA? Keep up with the mode’s evolving rules by following us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Steam, and Telegram.
