Apex Legends’ Street Fighter 6 Event Will Put Hadokens on Olympus on September 22
The crossover remixes Olympus, adds four Street Fighter 6 fighter styles to Wildcard, and brings Hadokens, Shoryukens, and third-person Fighter Form combat to Apex Legends.

Apex Legends will host its Street Fighter 6 event on September 22, 2026, but the crossover is doing more than decorating Olympus. Wildcard players can collect Fighter Gear, choose one of four character-inspired styles, and build toward a third-person Fighter Form while Hadokens and Shoryukens fly across a remixed version of the map. The details are confirmed in the game’s original Steam announcement and its full event details.
Wildcard gets four Street Fighter 6 fighting styles
Wildcard players can pick up Fighter Gear after dropping in and select a style inspired by Ryu, Chun-Li, Akuma, or Dhalsim. Each style includes a Passive, Tactical, and Ultimate based on its chosen character’s moveset, giving the crossover a distinct combat option for every selection.
Collecting Tokens fills the Fight Gauge. Once the gauge is ready, Fighter Form unlocks a third-person combat state with access to the Fighter Gear’s Tactical and Ultimate abilities, along with stronger melee attacks, a block, damage resistance, and bonus speed.
Olympus gets a Street Fighter 6 makeover
The event will remix Olympus with locations and decorations inspired by the fighting game. Luke’s Gym will join the battlefield, while Blanka-chan balloons, statues, arcade cabinet decorations, and other themed details will appear across the map. Hadokens and Shoryukens will also be available during the event, bringing a familiar fighting game touch to the Outlands.
Street Fighter 6 cosmetics join the crossover
The collection adds eight Iconic Skins that dress Legends as Street Fighter 6 characters. Sparrow will take on Ryu’s look, Alter will represent Chun-Li, Gibraltar will appear as Akuma, and Pathfinder will channel Dhalsim, with additional character pairings included in the lineup.
The event will also feature the Hadoken Mythic Universal Melee cosmetic and a matching Deathbox, giving players a permanent cosmetic connection to one of the crossover’s most recognizable attacks beyond the temporary Wildcard combat systems.
