Apex Legends got another live-status update on June 23, 2026, and Respawn said it is still working through several problems that showed up as Split 2 got underway.
The issues come after the Overclocked midseason patch, which brought legend and weapon changes in Apex Legends’ Overclocked midseason patch.
What Respawn is tracking
Respawn says some Ranked matches are starting with fewer than 60 players. A fix is gradually rolling out, and the studio expects that problem to be cleared by the end of the day.
The team also says map rotations were reset to 24 hours by mistake. Once the current 24-hour window ends, maps should return to their normal 4.5-hour rotation.
On the technical side, Respawn is investigating fresh FPS drops. The studio says some players have had better results by turning off Hyperthreading and updating to the latest drivers, and it added that shader compiling may also be part of the issue and could settle down after a match or two.
Respawn is also looking into a bug that leaves some players unable to move after landing from the dropship.
There was one small correction too. The new Executioner Hop-Up restores 50 shields over 5 seconds, not the 10 seconds that were first communicated.
Respawn said it will share more updates as it has them.
