Among Us turned eight on June 15, 2026, and Innersloth marked the milestone with a new demo for Among Us Story: On Guard, a free birthday hat, and two permanent Cosmicubes.
The Among Us Story: On Guard demo is live now and will be available until June 22. Innersloth says the narrative adventure puts players in the role of a Guard working with MIRA R&D while digging into shipboard secrets and doing their regular tasks along the way.
To mark the anniversary, players can log in to Among Us through July 15 at 06:59 UTC to claim the Lucky Number 8 Hat. The cosmetic is inspired by the Guard’s look in the upcoming game.
Innersloth also added two permanent Cosmicubes. The Showbiz Cosmicube, themed after the Among Us Animated Show, costs 4,000 Beans, while the space-themed Cosmic Cosmicube costs 70 Stars.
The studio also pointed players to its helpdesk for bug reports and account issues.
