Big news dropped at CES 2025! AMD has officially pulled back the curtain on its next-generation RDNA 4 graphics cards. The spotlight was on two new Radeon RX 9000 series entries: the Radeon RX 9070 XT and the Radeon RX 9070. Sounds fancy, right?
Now, before you get too hyped, there’s a bit of a catch, as AMD kept some details close to their chest. We’re still awaiting juicy specifics like full specs, exact release dates, and pricing. But hey, they did say we can expect more info later this quarter! Fingers crossed!
We know that these beauties will be hitting stores sometime in Q1, and they’ll sport some impressive tech upgrades. Think of FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4), which looks tailor-made for these new GPUs. AMD claims these cards will leverage a slick 4nm process alongside upgraded AI accelerators and ray tracing capabilities. But here’s where it gets interesting: the FSR 4 feature might not be available for older cards… Hmm!
The Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 will be available from AMD and partners like Asrock, Gigabyte, Sapphire, ASUS, you name it! If that wasn’t enough excitement for one announcement, they also hinted at an upcoming RX 9060 series! So much to look forward to!
I don’t know about you all, but I’m excited about what AMD has in store for us. What are your thoughts??
