AMD and its 3rd gen Ryzen CPUs are up to come. Allegedly, AMD’s 3rd gen CPUs is expected to hold the power of the i9-9900k, or at lease close to it. The first 7nm gaming CPU to close the gap on one of Intel’s greatest Desktop CPUs.
The whole CES 2019 presentation included a demo of eight-core model of the 3rd gen Ryzen CPUs. The CPU held no dedicated frequency, and it was showcased against Intel’s i9-9900k.
According to the showcase and comparison done, AMD Gen 3 CPU has been slightly better than the i9-9900k, with an inclusion of less power consumption as one of the general benefits.
Being similar to the performance of the i9-9900k, the new Gen of Ryzen CPUs may hold the future of gaming in their posession. However, we have to receive the final product and judge from there. Sadly, we’ll have to wait for half a year to receive something like that.
For now, we can only satisfy ourselves with a hint discovering the release date span. Below you can find the whole presentation of Ryzen 3rd generation, including some gaming footage.
