All Battlefield 6 Classes Revealed: What We Know So Far

Battlefield 6 is going to be an exciting addition to the franchise. With familiar classes returning, players can expect classic gameplay elements mixed with new features. Early insights into the class system reveal how each role influences your strategy on the battlefield.

The class system has always given Battlefield its distinct flavor. Unlike Call of Duty, which allows for extensive loadout customization, Battlefield sticks with a few defined roles. Players can look forward to engaging with four core classes in the upcoming title, just like in previous installments.

EA’s Battlefield Labs test provides an early glimpse into what players can expect from this pre-Alpha phase. Leaked gameplay footage hints at the overall direction of Battlefield 6, showcasing classic elements and potential new twists.

Leaked footage confirms four returning classes: Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon.

As shown in the leaked images from Battlefield 2042, these classes are familiar to series fans. While some earlier titles experimented with additional roles like Medic and Scout, most have relied heavily on these four staples.

The Battlefield Labs leaks confirm that you will choose from Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon during matches. Remember that final class details may change as development progresses towards launch.

Assault

This is your go-to infantry role, armed with automatic weapons for close-to-medium-range combat. Assault players excel at eliminating enemies while providing limited healing support to teammates.

Engineer

Engineers explore the tech side of warfare. They repair ally vehicles and sabotage enemy ones, employing a variety of gadgets to make their presence felt on the battlefield.

Support

Your Support role focuses on resupplying teammates and keeping them stocked with ammo and health packs. Your unique equipment can also effectively disrupt enemy operations.

Recon

If sniping from a distance sounds appealing, then Recon is your match. This role specializes in long-range engagements and identifying threats for teammates to counterattack.

The road ahead is still long until Battlefield 6 drops. The Battlefield Labs serves merely as a testing ground for ideas right now. What are your thoughts? Do you like seeing these four roles return or hope for something different?
