Albion Online Addresses Fame Display Bug in Abyssal Depths Hotfix 1.1

A server-only hotfix fixes a visual Fame bonus issue with Tome of Learning consumption.

Albion Online just released a small but essential hotfix for the Abyssal Depths update. This server-only fix targets a visual glitch related to Fame bonuses that some players noticed when consuming a Tome of Learning alongside an active Fame buff. It’s a quick fix that will be applied during the next scheduled maintenance for each server, so you won’t have to wait long to see its effect.

Sometimes, the little things matter, right? In this case, the game was showing an incorrect Fame bonus number after using a Tome of Learning if a Fame buff was already active. That could be not very clear when you’re tracking your progress or planning your next moves in the game’s complex economy and PvP systems.

Here’s what the hotfix addresses:

  • Fixed visual issue where consuming a Tome of Learning while a Fame buff was active would erroneously display a Fame bonus

It’s a tidy fix, but these small polish touches help keep the game feeling fair and transparent. I wonder how many players spotted this one before the developers stepped in? Yikes, those Fame numbers can be pretty significant.

What do you think about how quickly Albion Online handles these minor bugs? Have you noticed this Fame display issue yourself? I’m curious to hear your experiences, so please share your thoughts in the comments below!
