Xbox marketing director, Albert Penello has announced that he will leave Microsoft. His career in Microsoft was notable for 18 years straight. However, the time to move on has apparently come.
He has tweeted out that he leaves Microsoft after 18 years of, further claiming that once in a lifetime is somewhat an understatement for the occurrence. Last but not least, he still cheers for the Xbox team.
Well today is a crazy day. I've made the decision after 18 years to leave Microsoft. To say it's been a "once in a lifetime" experience is an understatement. The team at #Xbox has meant so much to me and I'll be cheering them on – there is so much great stuff still to come.

Before joining Microsoft in 2000, Albert Penello was already working in the game industry, leaving marks all-around on the side of Electronic Arts team. Back then, he held the same position of marketing manager.
After joining Microsoft he began working on the Xbox, Xbox 360 and Kinect marketing team, for later to become a marketing director.
