Age of Empires Mobile: PC Edition is available now on Steam and the Microsoft Store, bringing the strategy game to PC after the team said earlier this year that the port was on the way.
The new edition is tuned for desktop play with mouse control, full keyboard navigation, a refreshed UI, and enhanced 4K visuals. Crossplay also lets players move between phone, tablet, and PC, so long as they link their mobile progress before opening the PC version for the first time.
Players who already started on mobile can carry their progress over by binding their account in Settings > Account > Bind Account and then signing in on PC with the same method. The game has also been available on Google Play and the Apple App Store since October 2024, and the official update says it has drawn millions of players who have built kingdoms, fought for map control, and earned rewards through in-game events.
PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass subscribers can claim a bonus bundle that includes a Monthly Pass Token, a Custom Resource Chest, 10 Universal 60-Minute Speed-Ups, 1,000 Empire Coins, and an Exclusive Player Portrait Frame.
