Today, Age of Empires IV received its latest update, Patch 8.1.276. This new update not only aims to improve the game’s stability but also kicks off a seasonal event called “World Gaia Appreciation.”
From September 5th through September 29th, players can participate in various challenges related to environmental awareness. For instance, players can unlock the Coat of Arms Sigil – Animal Kingdom by winning a Skirmish or Multiplayer match without killing any animals.
This patch also addresses a handful of issues specifically affecting Xbox users. These include fixes to Group, Player, and Lobby chats and reducing the risk of game crashes to the Xbox Home screen.
Beyond Xbox, the patch improves stability for both console and PC users. Notable changes include performance enhancements after scrolling through the match list in Custom or Observer lobbies.
