Activision’s Waitzone, oh wait, Warzone is now finally fixed

Only a day was needed for them to fix the game.

Welcome to Activision’s Waitzone – oh wait, let’s not get ahead of ourselves – I mean, Warzone, which has finally been patched up. The developer didn’t need too much. It only took a day before they deployed the fixes for their latest, funniest update ever released.

Headsets on, snacks within reach, ready to leap into the battlefield. But alas, instead of dodging bullets and controlling recoil, they mastered the art of the stare-down with the infamous “Fetching Online Profile” error and the reconnect loop.

Meanwhile, those who could get couldn’t get a loadout drop just because, “hey, why not loop it here too”. Let them get stuck here too. One could almost hear the crates whispering sweet nothings like, “You can never leave me,” as players struggled to disentangle themselves from this unexpected embrace.

But fear not, for after almost an entire day, which in gamer time feels like an eternity, the doctors at Activision performed a successful surgery. A tweet from @CODUpdates shone like a beacon of hope, signaling the end of the gamers’ tribulations. The bugs were squashed, the errors exiled, and the loadout crates learned to respect personal space once again.

Ok, now we can go and test the latest changes to the game. Thank you, Activision, for letting us wait around 20 hours. It was worth it.
