A rock band may have revealed Activision’s plans on an upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game. Jess Margera, a drummer for CKY, may have hinted a potential new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game is in the works in a Behind Closed Doors podcast, concluded before a month.
Earlier today, VGC has spotted and posted an article regarding the talks. But, before we continue, it’s vital to mention that CKY had previously appeared on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, a product of 2001. On the podcast, Jess Margera stated the following:
“Now touring is your main income, and you really have to try and get licensing deals, try and get in where you can on video games or whatever because that’s another way to make some money.”
“It’s so cool because the classic Tony Hawks are just so good and laid out great, but obviously the system is old, and the graphics aren’t so great, so they basically just vamped up with the same premise, and the graphics are amazing.”
Activision spokesperson embraced silence on this rumor or speculation, as per the company guidelines. Hence, there might be something in the works.
While it may have been a statement made for last year’s remaster for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, it’s crucial to notice that he also mentioned a completely new title. Whether is that a new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater title or maybe a remaster, we’ll have to wait and see.
