On March 6, 2026 a listing for Abandoned: Gospels of Blood appeared on Hasan Kahraman’s PlayStation Network profile and looks to be a testing entry tied to the long-running Abandoned saga. The appearance comes five years after the original 2021 controversy surrounding Abandoned, which began with a PlayStation Blog post in April 2021 and quickly generated conspiracy theories linking the project to Hideo Kojima and the Silent Hill franchise.
The new PSN entry is being treated as a test listing. The project’s history is messy. In 2021 the game burst into the spotlight and many fans suggested it was a Kojima-led mystery reveal. Blue Box Game Studios, the team associated with the project, pushed back at the time and said it had “no association with Hideo Kojima” and described itself as “a small group of developers working on a passionate title we wanted to work on for a long time.”
The Abandoned controversy also echoed an earlier Kojima tactic, when Metal Gear Solid V was first presented under the Moby Dick Studio name before Kojima revealed his involvement. Whether Abandoned: Gospels of Blood will ever be delivered as a full release remains unclear, though the listing indicates Kahraman is still active with the project.
