A Simple Targeting Trick Makes Dundun’s Shrine Easier to Find in WoW Delves
Once Delvers Journey reaches level 3, a Shrine of Abundance can appear inside a Delve and provide extra rewards.
Finding the Shrine of Abundance in a World of Warcraft Delve can be tricky once the area fills with props, effects, and dim lighting. After reaching level 3 in the Delvers Journey, players can use Dundun’s target name to locate the shrine more easily, as explained in a community tip on Reddit.
Once the level 3 requirement is met, Dundun can appear inside a Delve alongside a Shrine of Abundance. These shrines may provide extra chests, coins, or experience for Valeera. They can resemble the plywood stage props used in TWW events, which makes them easy to miss while moving through a busy Delve.
How to locate and mark Dundun
- Enter the Delve and type
/tar Dunduninto the chat. - If Dundun does not appear as the selected target, move farther into the Delve and enter the command again. The shrine is simply out of range when the target fails to appear.
- After Dundun becomes your target, right-click the target portrait and choose Marker.
Marking the target makes the Shrine of Abundance much easier to pick out when the Delve path brings you close to it. The shrine can then be found without relying on the lighting or trying to separate it from the surrounding clutter.
Use a macro to target Dundun
Players who want to speed up the process can create a new macro with these three commands:
/cleartarget
/target dundun
/ping [@target] assistThe first command removes your existing target, the second searches for Dundun by name, and the final command pings the newly selected target with an assist marker. Use the macro after Dundun has spawned in the Delve, and move farther along the path before trying it again if no target appears.
The macro offers a quick way to check for Dundun among a Delve’s other objects and rewards, while the manual targeting method still lets you mark the shrine directly through the target portrait.
