Battlefield 2042 Season 6 To Bring Significant Improvements to Ground Vehicles

Battlefield 2042 players, gear up! The game’s developer, DICE, is set to release Season 6: Dark Creations this October. While the full details will be disclosed in the upcoming reveal trailer, DICE has given us a glimpse of what to expect, particularly concerning ground vehicles. The studio has released a series of short video clips on X, revealing changes in steering curves, momentum, and more.

DICE is paying attention to the steering curves of vehicles, significantly when they are not actively accelerating. The idea is to offer players better control over speed for increased maneuverability and more precise steering in tight spots.

The new updates will also address sudden stops while turning without acceleration, making the driving experience smoother. Additionally, the engine power at the lowest RPM will be increased, improving acceleration and hanging from a standstill point.

Tanks are also getting some love. The friction of tank tracks will be lowered, making them feel lighter and offering improved momentum when turning.

The developers are working on making the vehicles feel more grounded by tweaking game physics. This should help reduce the floaty feeling you sometimes get while driving.

All land vehicles will see wheel traction and suspension enhancements to make them adhere better to the game world, particularly with the added gravity settings. Tanks will also be more resilient to flipping over during collisions. Below you can find some of the improvements given on X.

I've spent half of my life playing video games, ever since the competitive 1.6 era. Now I am happily married to Margarita Kicevski, and have two beautiful children. My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
