Lords of the Fallen, a sequel to CI Games‘ Souls-like hit, has finally gone gold, signaling its readiness for launch. Developed by Hexworks, the game will be released on October 13th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
Set in the mysterious world of Mournstead, players will take on the role of a Dark Crusader tasked with preventing the resurrection of the demon god Adyr. The gameplay will explore two distinct realms: Axiom, the Land of the Living, and Umbral, the Land of the Dead. Players will utilize the unique Umbral Lamp to cross between worlds and combat enemies.
Hexworks has announced that the Dev Journals will commence next week to answer players’ “burning questions” about the game. These journals will provide in-depth insights into the dark fantasy action RPG, enhancing anticipation and engagement.
The official announcement was made via Twitter with the words: “Lampbearer, we offer glad tidings for Lords of the Fallen has officially Gone Gold, launching October 13th.”
