Fortnite continues its streak of epic crossovers by introducing the realm of Jujutsu Kaisen to its Battle Royale. Update 25.30, now available across all platforms, not only brings elements of the anime to the game but also addresses a range of technical issues players have been experiencing.
As part of the Jujutsu Kaisen crossover, Fortnite has unveiled the Break the Curse event. Players can now learn cursed techniques, earn exclusive cosmetics, and get their hands on some coveted rewards via quest completions.
Event Highlights:
- The island is invaded by Cursed Llamas. Destroying these will teach players the Straw Doll Technique and Hollow Technique: Purple.
- Players can participate in the Break the Curse Quests, which are categorized as per Jujutsu High standards. Starting from Grade 4 and going up to the Special Grade level, these quests reward players with Cursed Energy and other cosmetics such as the Shadow Play: Toad Emote.
- The Jujutsu Kaisen Cup is scheduled for August 11. This Duos Zero Build tournament offers participants a chance to bag the Good Boy Kon Emoticon.
A tweet from Epic Games teased, “To break the curse, use the curse…” Jujutsu Kaisen is coming to take over the Battle Royale Island.

Skins inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen characters – Gojo Satoru, Kugisaki Nobara, Fushiburo Megumi, and Itadori Yuuji – are some of the major attractions of this update.
But Jujutsu Kaisen isn’t the only collaboration. Buzz is that WWE superstars Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair could soon enter the Fortnite universe.
