Ubisoft’s mobile game, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, is gearing up for its beta release on August 3. Developed by Tencent’s Level Infinite division as part of Ubisoft’s strategic partnership with the Chinese company, this free-to-play game will take players on an immersive journey through ancient China.
The closed beta test for Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade will be available on Android and iOS platforms. Players interested in participating can register for the beta through the official game’s website. This early access opportunity allows gamers to get a taste of the gameplay and provide valuable feedback to help refine the final release.
Set in the third century BC during one of the first unified dynasties in China, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade invites players to explore the path of Xia, a time characterized by extensive trade and cultural exchange between the East and the West. According to Level Infinite, the game’s developer, players will face new challenges and threats lurking in the shadows as they journey through a world filled with ancient history and hidden dangers.
One of the promises of Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is its “huge” open world for players to explore. From the Great Wall outside the empire’s borders to the imperial capital of Xianyang, players will venture through 2,000 years of history, discovering the prestigious dynasties of the East and defending the Great Wall. The game aims to deliver breathtaking scenery and encounters with eastern merchants, providing an immersive experience within the vibrant setting of ancient China.
