Blizzard President Denies Diablo 4’s Release on Xbox Game Pass Amid Speculation

In a recent development, Mike Ybarra, the president of Blizzard Entertainment, has squashed speculation regarding the availability of Diablo 4 on Xbox Game Pass, despite the game being advertised on the Brazilian payment app, PicPay.

PicPay, an official gift card retailer in Brazil, made headlines after reportedly advertising that the highly-anticipated Diablo 4 would be available on Microsoft’s subscription service, Xbox Game Pass. A translated version of the post on the app read: “Available Now. Get it now or play it through Xbox Game Pass.

The tweet from PicPay fueled a flurry of speculation among the gaming community regarding the availability of Diablo 4 on Xbox Game Pass. However, Ybarra quickly addressed the rumors, stating unequivocally on Twitter: “This is not happening.” Since then, the banner on PicPay advertising Diablo 4’s availability on Game Pass has been deleted.
