Nintendo is poised to broadcast a new Nintendo Direct presentation today, Wednesday, June 21. The focus of the showcase will be mainly on Nintendo Switch titles launching this year, with added insights about the much-anticipated Pikmin 4. The official YouTube player is already embedded at the top of this article.
This month’s Nintendo Direct will kick off at 10 am EDT/7 am PDT and run approximately 40 minutes. Nintendo fans worldwide can join the live presentation on Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels.
On the agenda are several exciting upcoming games. Nintendo has revealed that we will hear more about Pikmin 4, Everybody 1-2-Switch!, and the highly anticipated Metroid Prime 4. Furthermore, if Nintendo sticks to its previous post-release strategy, as seen in Breath of the Wild, we could also hear about potential expansions for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Last but not least, the company might have plans to add more retro games from the NES, Game Boy, and Nintendo 64 era to its Nintendo Switch Online service, keeping us nostalgics on our toes. There’s also a chance that games from Nintendo’s publishing partners may get some spotlight in the new Nintendo Direct.
