Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp has finally been released worldwide for the Nintendo Switch. Developed by WayForward Technologies, this compilation yields the first two installments in the classic strategy game series with updated visuals and many new features. The launch trailer showcases the remastered graphics and offers a glimpse into the updated gameplay experience.
The Orange Star nation calls on players to test their battle strategies in Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp. These Game Boy Advance classics have been rebuilt from the ground up, retaining the original gameplay while incorporating the ability to challenge friends online. Players will command land, air, and naval units in strategic, turn-based missions to defeat enemy squads, capture bases, and restore peace.
The game features two classic campaigns: Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising. Players will enroll in the Orange Star army and fight against the Blue Moon, Green Earth, and Gold Comet armies in the first campaign before taking on the ruthless Sturm and the Black Hole Army in the sequel. Both campaigns allow players to fast-forward gameplay and rewind turns for a smoother experience.
Players can test their skills in the War Room, which offers a variety of challenges and opportunities to unlock more Commanding Officers and additional challenges. The goal is to achieve the highly coveted S Ranks. For those who like to get creative, the Design Room allows players to craft custom maps with various terrains, including mountainous battlefields and watery combat zones. Share these creations with friends and challenge them to overcome your custom obstacles.
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is now available for purchase and download on the Nintendo Switch.
