In Immortals of Aveum, players assume the role of Jak, a gifted Battlemage, and embark on a quest to save a world teetering on the ‘edge of abyss.’ The game offers fast, fluid, first-person spell-based combat, with magic at the core of offense and defense. Players can creatively leverage all three forces of magic and will be rewarded for clever chained attacks and well-timed counters.
The game features a wide variety of Spells and Talents across three colors of magic, with opportunities to discover, upgrade, and craft hundreds of pieces of magical gear. Players can synergize their playstyle across all three forces of magic to become Aveum’s most powerful Triarch Magnus.
Immortals of Aveum will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic, and the EA App. As part of EA’s Originals lineup, Immortals of Aveum joins the ranks of other titles focused on independent developers. The game is a project by Ascendant Studios, a team of developers who have worked on critically acclaimed titles such as Dead Space and Call of Duty. This talented team brings their BAFTA and Game of the Year award-winning experience to create an original fantasy universe filled with magic, conflict, and the looming threat of oblivion.
