Sudden Strike 4’s beta test is now available through Steam. Sadly, this Beta version of the game is only available to players who’s already pre-ordered the game. Unlike other games that release Open Betas to the world, we’re not sure that’ll happen with Sudden Strike 4. Real Time Strategy Game with bigger battlefields and more units, and of course, improved graphics.
It seems like developing companies are getting quite comfortable with using Steam as a selling platform, knowing that Steam has a lot of traffic thanks to Valve’s big games, CS:GO and Dota 2. More about this we’ll speak some other time. Now, let’s go back to Sudden Strike 4.
Now, back to Sudden Strike 4. The Sudden Strike 4 Beta is available starting from today, May 22.
Knowing that the Beta test will be running until the game’s full release which is going to happen on 11th of August 2017, we might count this more like an Early-Access instead of Beta version of the game. However, the beta includes the Tutorial mode, three Single Player maps, Skirmish and Multiplayer mode. The tutorial will give you the chance to get familiar with your keybindings. Players will receive 1 additional mission to each three big campaigns in Sudden Strike 4 Beta, Allied Mission (Snow Mission), Soviet Mission, and one German Mission (The Battle of Stalingrad).
Talking about the Multiplayer mode, it seems really satisfying. Do not forget to report a bug if you encounter one, or give feedback to the devs so they’ll get to hear from you. To do that, you just need to press F11 where a new screen will pop up. From there, just make sure you follow the instructions.
Another good thing is that Sudden Strike 4 pre-order customers will have access to an exclusive forum made just for them. In this way, players can interact with the developers in more details.
