Microsoft is stealing the limelight with its upcoming Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct as the gaming industry gears up for a jam-packed June. The events, scheduled for June 11th, are expected to offer a comprehensive look at the company’s future first-party lineup and its most anticipated exclusive release of the year.
A recent leak on Twitter by user @_h0x0d_ suggests that the showcase and Direct will run from 10 AM to 12 PM PT on June 11th. While this information should be taken with a grain of salt, Tom Warren of The Verge also said, “The Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct is going to be around 2 hours total.” He speculates that the leading showcase will last 90 minutes, with Starfield Direct taking up the remaining 30 minutes.
so the Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct is going to be around 2 hours total. Probably 90 mins for main show and 30 mins for Starfield https://t.co/AhDZBECNrW

This rumored runtime for the Xbox Games Showcase aligns with last year’s event, which clocked in at approximately 95 minutes. Given Bethesda Game Studios’ eagerness to present Starfield in-depth, a 30-minute window seems reasonable.
Fans are eager to learn more about Microsoft’s first-party offerings and to get an extended look at the highly anticipated Starfield. The space-faring RPG is set to launch on September 6th for Xbox Series X/S and PC, with day-one availability on Game Pass.
