A wave of nostalgia and excitement is set to hit the gaming community as the highly anticipated FINAL FANTASY Pixel Remaster series makes its way to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on April 19, 2023. The remastered collection of the first six games in the beloved RPG series will offer fans and newcomers a chance to experience these timeless classics with updated graphics, enhanced gameplay, and other exciting features. The Pixel Remaster series is available on PC via Steam, iOS, and Android platforms.

The FINAL FANTASY Pixel Remaster series includes:

  • FINAL FANTASY
  • FINAL FANTASY II
  • FINAL FANTASY III
  • FINAL FANTASY IV
  • FINAL FANTASY V
  • FINAL FANTASY VI

Each game in the series has been meticulously updated with new 2D pixel graphics designed to look stunning on HD displays. The remastered games feature the iconic character designs created by Kazuko Shibuya, the original artist, and current collaborator. Additionally, original composer Nobuo Uematsu has overseen the rearrangement of the games’ soundtracks, staying faithful to the FINAL FANTASY style fans have come to love.

The series brings several improvements to the gameplay experience, such as a modernized user interface, auto-battle options, and more. Players can also dive deeper into each game’s world by including additional extras like the bestiary, illustration gallery, and music player.

Console versions of the FINAL FANTASY Pixel Remaster series offer fantastic new features to make the experience even more enjoyable. These features include changing soundtracks between the original and rearranged versions, switching between two different fonts, turning off random encounters for uninterrupted exploration, and adjusting the experience gained by up to four times.

These six legendary RPGs have captured the hearts of millions worldwide, and the Pixel Remaster series provides the perfect opportunity to revisit or discover these masterpieces for the first time. Each game can be purchased individually or as part of the complete FINAL FANTASY I – VI BUNDLE, including a soundtrack with 20 tracks and 14 unique wallpapers.

You can pre-order the Switch version to receive two themed Wallpapers for each game, or get all 12 themed Wallpapers by purchasing the FINAL FANTASY I – VI BUNDLE. The PS4 version will be available later, with special Theme and Avatar bonuses for those who purchase between April 20, 2023, and May 25, 2023.
