Escape From Tarkov’s Morphine injector is no longer a painkiller [Fixed]

Update: Morphine’s attributes have been returned to their previous state and the item works as usual again. We have no clue why Battlestate Games changed the item in the first place, but it seems that it’s been some sort of a mistake.

Battlestate Games seems dedicated to balancing its realistic first-person shooter, Escape From Tarkov, to an entirely new extent. Earlier today, the developer removed the attributes of the morphine injector, one of the most common painkillers in Escape From Tarkov.

Previously, the morphine injector served as a painkiller to counter fractures or adverse effects from completely blacked-out limbs. Players using the injection are no longer getting the painkiller effect, and in case you find yourself with a broken leg, this powerful drug won’t be an enhancer of any kind. Thus, your character will still be limping.

Perhaps, the developer plans to add new types of effects to the game, and the Morphine injector might underly a rework until those arrive. Recently, the impact of the Propital injector has also been changed, and we won’t be amazed if we see a complete stim overhaul shortly.
