It’s not only Xbox that’s getting the goodies. Instead, PlayStation 5 has similar voice chat and connectivity plans. It appears that Discord Voice Chat is on its way to PlayStation 5 and will allow players to share opinions while playing their favorite games. This is a big step for the future of console gaming and response to Xbox’s recent Discord Voice integration.
At this particular time, it looks like Discord Voice chat calls are coming to PlayStation 5 solely, ruling its predecessor (PS4) out of the equation.
As noted by Advaith on Twitter, who’s known for PS5-related statements, the Discord PS5 voice integration is on its way to becoming a reality. Players will be able to join voice chat and display the games they’re playing on PS5, while PS4 users will be solely locked to displaying their game.

Who knows, maybe some future update will allow this integration to traverse to the PS4, even though it’s not the current-gen console. This rollout is expected to arrive with some upcoming PlayStation 5 updates, which should be happening shortly.
Previously, Xbox integrated Discord Voice chat, which became very functional and a favorite among hardcore gamers.
