This deserves attention, and hopefully, the Battlefield 2042 developers will realize it sooner than later. That’s why we’re posting it here as well, hoping to raise the awareness of some broken weapons or mechanics that, to some extent, shouldn’t even exist in the game. It is so broken that players are baffled and without realization of what went down during the process.
As we said, it is so bizarre that players don’t even know how they got executed during the process. No matter how hard you try, this shouldn’t be allowed, especially in a game where you can survive a direct rocket impact while the backblast of an RPG will obliterate you instantly.
Such an occurrence was shared by a player on the official Battlefield 2042 subreddit, where he’s asking for an explanation for his death reason. You can find the video below:
Can someone explain to me what happened here?

Not that the RPG backblast is not dangerous in real-life, but in a game where rockets can barely scratch you sometimes, the backblast shouldn’t even exist in comparison. Don’t get me wrong, I love Battlefield 2042, and I am not here to flame. I just want to point out that it can be super fun and highlight the real Battlefield 2042 experience.
