GTA 6 might be entering a new phase of development based on the recent job listing made by Rockstar Games. The company’s job adverts are offered for GTA hub Rockstar North, and they demand almost every type of game-making talent. Some of the job listings need a designer for open-world events, while others are in need of animation and mission designs, including vehicle physics.
The latest round of Rockstar jobs has been made public, and it’s causing quite a stir in the industry. 70 new jobs have come to light since yesterday alone! There are 227 open positions (thanks to Hitmarker), ranging from an associate designer responsible for “open world events” or even more specific ones like groundbreaking interactive narratives. With that said, it’s safe to assume that the listings are related to GTA 6.
Based on rumors that keep on intensifying, GTA 6 could be heading back to Vice City, reconciling its roots. But that’s not all of it. Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming, and it might be time to start considering a career change if you want in on the action. Listings for upcoming developments point towards an increased focus on Vice City.
Even if Rockstar Games is known for using codenames for their upcoming projects, this time around, it’s safe to assume that Rockstar Games is seeking talent that will strengthen the team working on GTA 6. Rockstar Games said that the development of GTA 6 is “well underway“, and these job listings are more than well suited and appropriate follow-up.
