The latest and biggest No Man’s Sky update, Endurance, is now out, with tons of improvements and a complete overhaul of freighters and fleets. But that’s not all. Aside from boarding freighters and flying through space, players can now encounter huge asteroid fields, which sounds very compelling in addition to the freighter overhaul. Tons of other features are also in, so let’s see how this update makes the game more beautiful.
As per Sean Murray, the Hello Games founder and creator of No Man’s Sky, players will have a lot more to do aside from the original content. The game now offers instant access to warping and teleportation, so building a fleet and exploring the universe together is quite probably the next best move.
As per the official press release, Endurance brings a complete overhaul of freighters and fleets, allowing players to live and work aboard their home in the stars with their crew. A new bridge brings quality of life improvements, with instant access to warping and teleportation. Players can now build vast freighter bases on a scale not seen before with specially themed areas and new features for growing food and manufacturing, and new technology like the ability to scan and analyze planets from space.
Furthermore, No Man’s Sky Endurance adds the following:
- Freighter Overhaul
- Vast Bases
- Improved Hangar
- NPC Crew
- External Windows
- Teleporter
- Huge Asteroids Fields
- Exterior Walkways
- Space Atmospherics
- Polestar Expedition
- Living Frigates
- Combat Missions
