Bohemia Interactive’s work on Arma Reforger is heftier than you think

The developer is personally checking for faulty mods and letting creators know about them.

Arma Reforger, the title that is supposed to evolve into Arma 4, is slowly working its way through the trenches. Bohemia Interactive has recently confirmed that the developer is not only working on improving the game by fixing known issues but is also helping the modding community by checking mods by themselves and letting them know of any failures.

In a recent Dev Report, Bohemia Interactive stated, “We’d like to remind you that using mods can lead to instability and game-breaking bugs. We’re testing mods ourselves and giving feedback and supporting mod creators whenever possible.” While for some may not mean much, it definitely helps mod creators for a better outcome. As for other bits and pieces, the developer is planning to introduce some other novelties.

The developer has figured out how to improve spawning on radio operators, or better said, mobile spawns, which haven’t worked perfectly and still know to bug out. They have also figured out how to improve the building where AI or players could block the selected locations. Once initiated, they should now move away from the construction area and let it finish.

But that’s not it, the game’s AI is also getting improvements. Arma Reforger’s AI is an irreplaceable part of the game that makes scenarios much more enjoyable. Game Masters can finally take a breather and indulge their intentions by witnessing a proper AI movement and aiming. Last but not least, Xbox players will get an official server capacity of 32 players per box. This means more players will be able to run on one server.
