Escape From Tarkov is Getting “Offline” Co-Op Mode

EOD owners will get a co-op mode in Escape From Tarkov.

Have you ever wanted to play with your friends in Escape From Tarkov? Not that anyone has prevented you from doing that, but now there will be a more subtle version of co-op, in which you can plan your collective actions before jumping in a live raid. Exactly, OFFLINE CO-OP will finally become available in Escape From Tarkov and will allow players to team up, experiment, test favorite weapons, have a fight against each other, or just agree to callouts of specific locations.

On Thursday, Nikita, Battlestate Games COO, revealed that offline co-op mode is becoming available in Escape From Tarkov. This will most likely be concluded with the installment of the next major patch, which should also bring a wipe to the table. At this moment, this game mode is solely available for single-players only, and the option to invite others is missing.

There’s another catchy perspective to this. Initially, this game mode will be strictly available to owners of the EOD edition of the game. However, it will not be permanently locked to, as Nikita also confirmed that despite its initial idea, the offline co-op version might become available for everyone, including owners of other cheaper EFT editions. Sooner or later, the EOD edition will be removed, so if you’re eager to experience this mode from the get-go, you will need to buy it before the EOD removal.

Escape From Tarkov Offline Co-Op Mode Description

In this mode, you can practice offline on your own, or immerse yourself in an online cooperative game with friends without the risk of meeting other players. You can use this mode to explore locations, test your weapons, and do other activities before going into an actual fight against live opponents.

All game mechanics in the co-op mode (weather, bots, Bosses, etc.) are identical to the online mechanics.

I've spent half of my life playing video games, ever since the competitive 1.6 era. Now I am happily married to Margarita Kicevski, and have two beautiful children. My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
