Escape From Tarkov might be nearing wipe, indeed. On May 1st, the well-known day of unity celebrated by many countries and different cultures, Battlestate Games retweeted a tweet from John B, with a quote including the Eyes emoji, which symbolizes that something big is about to happen. Should we follow the story? Most probably, because of John B’s involvement with the last wipe when Lighthouse got released.
Before we elaborate deeper on this, we should take a look at the quote tweet below:

Who’s John B? He’s a familiar figure in the Tarkov community. He streams on Twitch, and he’s also a big fan of the game. Most importantly, he is a DJ who wants to utilize and upgrade his knowledge in creating music and editing his music videos. In a word, he’s his own music producer. He is known for his Escape From Tarkov hit (It’s a Lighthouse Party), but he also performed in a Livestream concert. Below you can find his It’s a Lighthouse Party song.
IT’S A LIGHTHOUSE PARTY!!
Here’s my new song & video! LET'S GO! 12.12 & the Lighthouse!!

We are not sure if John is affiliated with Battlestate Games. This article is based on his recent Escape From Tarkov activities. Given that Battlestate Games quoted his tweet, it could rather imply of an upcoming event in Escape From Tarkov, or in this case, a wipe that will finally bring the Lighthouse expansion to life. Either way, it will be fun to see what he’s working on.
Obviously, there is still an ongoing, event where players need to deposit the wage set by Lightkeeper to bring back the traders. It doesn’t necessarily mean that it needs to be concluded before the wipe. We are talking about the Lighthouse expansion that will introduce Lightkeeper, which has already proven his destructive behavior even before his official arrival. In that sense, I am scared that the event might expand beyond the wipe and decrepify the whole community if fulfillment is not met. Hence, it could be a stealthy rather than overt wipe.
