Lost Ark is still standing strong, and Smilegate RPG and Amazon Games are getting ready to deploy a new subclass into the game. Previously revealed in a Roadmap, the Glaivier is an upcoming subclass coming to Lost Ark, but what’s different now is that it has a release date. The Glaivier will be added to the game on April 21st, 2022. While the player base has plummeted in the past couple of weeks, this change is expected to notice another minor increase in player numbers.
On Thursday, shortly after the Weekly Reset and deployment of a couple of hotfixes, Amazon Games posted on the official Twitter Profile, revealing the release date of the Glaivier subclass. You can find the official announcement below.

Glaivier main role, weapons, and more
Now let’s talk more about the new Subclass, which is supposed to arrive on April 21st.
The Glaivier is a Martial Arts subclass. A new Martial Artist that yields a spear and glaive, two powerful weapons that will allow her to slice and dice her way through the battlefield. The Glaivier also has two distinct skill sets, Focus and Flurry, which can swap between, offering her different abilities based on the weapons. Something similar to the already existing Gunslinger.
Additionally, this update will be followed by another Warrior subclass, Destroyer, arriving somewhere in May. Furthermore, the game will receive a brand new Continent, including end-game content that will allow players to progress on their character easier.
Even if all of this has already been out in Korea, the game’s motherland, these changes will surely provide a new wave of entertainment in the western post-release. I do not know about you, but I am definitely excited as it feels like it’s the time to stray away from my Gunslinger and experience a new class.
