Sanctum of Domination is World of Warcraft’s latest Raid Tier in which The Dark Lady, Sylvanas Windrunner is the last and final boss. But that doesn’t mean anything to the World First race, which officially started happening with the beginning of Battle for Azeroth, which first raid tier took place in the titan research and quarantine facility where titans conducted experiments on Old Gods and dissected them, also known as Uldir.
The World First Race is a race in which notorious hardcore guilds from all around the world tackle Raid’s encounters on the highest “Mythic” difficulty shortly after release. Everyone’s hope is to defeat them first. It’s a very time-consuming activity, as we have noticed watching live streams and organizations broadcast their tireless pulls, especially on last bosses.
So far, Sanctum of Domination has been a wild ride in terms of competition. This is the first World First Race in which multiple top-notch guilds have managed to get to the last boss before being defeated. Usually is just 2 to 3 guilds that will reach the final stand. Two of them are mostly ahead in progress. The Following Guilds have managed to reach Sylvanas Windrunner:
- Echo (EU)
- Complexity Limit (US)
- Big Dumb Guild (US)
- Method (EU)
- Pieces (EU).
There are in total 5 guilds that have tackled Sylvanas Windrunner, which makes this World First Race outstanding and most entertaining for the viewers. It is also the first-ever encounter, which besides extra mechanics, Blizzard altered its final objective. Echo has brought the boss below 50% of HP, and nothing happens, and it’s usually a trigger point for defeat on the lower difficulties. Hence, there’s something different with Lady Sylvanas, and god knows, it may take just enough time like Kil’Jaeden. I would definitely understand Blizzard as Lady Sylvanas is one of the most iconic characters in the game.
