Ubisoft is ready to reveal a new shooter game falling in Tom Clancy’s universe. The reveal will occur today, as announced during late Sunday. The broadcast will flow on YouTube, with its link already active and ready to set a reminder for. The event will begin at 11 AM PDT / 8 PM CEST. The YouTube player has been attached just below this paragraph.
Due to the partnership with IGN and Gamespot, we know that the game resembles The Division, even though it’s a word about a first-person team shooter. Judging by the footage revealed so far, it seems the fights are set in the cold winter, similar to The Division’s cold winter setting. Some of the icons and UI also resembles us of The Division.
The Division always seemed like it needed a thorough and exciting PvP game mode. Aside from the Dark Zone, we haven’t noticed much of it. Having a distinct yet unique and standalone version of such a shooter would assess complete viability. Below you can find the early gameplay shared by IGN and Gamespot.
Having different gadgets and unique Ultimate powers definitely reminds us of The Division. We can also see capture points across the map, which reminds us of the PvP game mode available in The Division itself. Nevertheless, we’ll have to wait and see what kind of product will enrich Tom Clancy’s universe.
