Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s directors Taylor Kurosaki and Jacob Minkoff are both leaving Infinity Ward. The 2019 first-person shooter has reached many heights thanks to its brains behind it, such as Taylor and Jacob. Apparently, both of them will leave Infinity Ward, focusing on something else soon.
In a sad departure message, Taylor Kurosaki and Jacob Minkoff have stated the following:
Earlier this year, we decided to move on from Infinity Ward to pursue a rare and exciting new opportunity. It was an honor to be a part of the studio for the last 7 years, and we’re so proud of what we created together with Modern Warfare and Infinite Warfare. We wish the team nothing but the best.
So, what’s next for us? We can’t say much for now, but we’re looking forward to sharing more with you soon.
Jacob Minkoff was the design director working on Modern Warfare, while Taylor Kurosaki was a narrative director. A departurе that will probably give a boost to another video game developer in the near future. Which one remains unknown, but we’ll be closely monitoring this move as it definitely deserves the attention. Modern Warfare and Warzone have become flagship titles in the gaming industry, with tons of players hoping the train.
