Among the other announcements during BlizzCon 2019, Blizzard has announced their very own Arcade Collection that features 3 classic titles. It’s set to release for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One with quality of life updates. It’ll also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S via backward compatibility. The collection is available now for $19.99.
Blizzard’s Arcade Collection includes three titles: The Lost Vikings, Rock n’ Roll Racing, and Blackthorne.
The Lost Vikings is a side-scrolling platform adventure in which the player alternates control of the three Viking characters, guiding each of them one at a time (though control may be swapped from character to character at any point) from a designated start point in each level to the exit.
Rock n’ Roll Racing is a vehicular combat-based racing video game developed by Silicon & Synapse and published by Interplay Productions for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993 and the Mega Drive/Genesis in 1994.
Blackthorne is a cinematic platform game developed by Blizzard Entertainment. It was released for the Super NES and MS-DOS in 1994. The following year, Blackthorne was released for the Sega 32X with additional content.
