Blizzard’s annual event is probably the most praised one. The event is just about to kick-off, and we’re here to remind you not to miss it. Even though it will be a virtual experience only, BlizzCon 2021 will probably be the biggest one in the company’s history. With everything else put on halt but the event in focus, let’s look at when the event will be live and what it could offer.
Blizzard also celebrated its 30th anniversary, which may be the cause to discover other surprises, remasters of some of the old classics. Not to mention, there’s already a queue for something like that, but we’ll have to wait and see if it’s going to become a reality.
BlizzCon Start Time and predictions
The event will kick off on February 19, 2021, at 2 PM PST, with many surprises in store. BlizzConline is estimated to discover the development progress on multiple video game titles, such as Diablo 4, Overwatch 2, and even the secretive one, Diablo 2 Resurrected.
Diablo 4
Diablo 4 will most probably notice a new class reveal, Rogue, that will sound like a return to the series. The Rogue was present in the initial Diablo and has been absent ever since. A fast and agile hero, likely to swarm the enemies’ spines without even knowing his presence.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands – Chains of Domination
Blizzard can reveal the upcoming World of Warcraft upcoming content update, titled Chains of Domination. World of Warcraft Shadowlands’ upcoming patch may allow players to use flying mounts, making its terrain a lot easier to conquer. Furthermore, it will focus on the upcoming Raid and new Dungeons, which in the eyes of the hardcore WoW fans is the most valuable portion of the game. However, we’ll have to wait and see more about it once BlizzConline goes live.
Overwatch 2
Everyone expects to see more about Overwatch 2, which should serve as a “hype verification” since its development process has become very silent since its initial announcement at BlizzCon. New heroes or features in plans might be discovered to reestablish the lost chemistry between the fans.
Hearthstone
Most probably a new expansion or a new deck of cards, just as any other BlizzCon event.
Old Arcades
It’s expected that Blizzard may blow the dust off of some of their long-forgotten titles. Old games may reappear on a modern piece of technology, with overhauls and exceptional visuals. Games such as The Lost Vikings may see a return on the big screen.
Mobile Games
While we’re not that deep into the mobile games, we expect to see Blizzard making new announcements about upcoming projects on handheld devices. Diablo Immortal, the online video game for mobile devices, may finally get a release date. Blizzard might even hit us with the “it’s now available” announcement if we consider the development time. We wouldn’t like to comment about other possibilities, but sit back and wait for the kick-off event.
