Tripwire Interactive’s first-person medieval combat game, Chivalry 2, gets an official release date. It seems like games that recover after a delay are slowly getting on the right track, and we’re seeing more and more releases being discovered lately. It’s a great thing to hear all around.
According to Torn Banner Studios, this gory but exciting experience will be available on June 8, 2021, which announcement was made yesterday. Chivalry 2 is now available with a different candidate, a closed alpha currently running in EU and NA.
If an interest pokes inside any player, and should he decide to seek an invitation, closed alpha is currently active and only available for signups. Last but not least, Chivalry 2 will be an Epic Games Store exclusive. The first year of exclusivity will fully belong to EGS, with a possibility to arrive on other PC resellers such as Steam in the latter.
Chivalry 2 is coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 on June 8, 2021!

Epic medieval movie battles had always inspired Chivalry 2 to be such a game with unique combat mechanics.
With Chivalry 2 we want to bring to life the grit and powerful emotions of a cinematic medieval battlefield,” says Torn Banner Studios’ president Steve Piggott. “Learn to master the blade as you lay siege to castles, set fire to villages and slaughter filthy peasants.
