For those who are unfamiliar, Dead Cells is a roguelike action platformer video game inspired by Metroidvania-style games, developed and published by Motion Twin. Today, the official Twitter account for Nintendo of Europe confirmed that a free trial version of the game would be arriving at Nintendo Switch Online.
However, this free trial will only be available to a few regions, according to the Tweet. UK, Europe, and Australia will all get the Dead Cells free trial. However, it is unknown if it will arrive sometime in other locations.

The trial starts on January 26th and ends on February 1st, giving you enough time to try the base version of the game to some extent.
Speaking of Dead Cells, its upcoming Fatal Falls expansion will also be released on January 26th. The Fatal Falls DLC will cost $4.99. However, Switch players have already gotten a special bundle titled Dead Cells: The Fatal Seed Bundle.
It’ll include the base game, The Bad Seed DLC, and The Fatal Falls DLC, but the base version of the game isn’t available to play if you buy the bundle now. You’ll still have to wait until January 26th. PC and console fans will also get the bundle on the same day.
