After the announcement of the collaboration between Lucasfilm Games and Ubisoft Massive and the talks about the futuristic Star Wars games, it’s time to turn the table back to EA, since they have an exclusive licensing agreement with Disney for the Star Wars universe, signed back in 2012.
Today, Ubisoft announced that Ubisoft Massive is working on an open-world Star Wars adventure, for which the company is hoping to be the first out of many others queued for in the future.

Back to Electronic Arts. In a recent interview, Lucasfilm Games’ VP has discovered that EA is working on numerous Star Wars games, which backs up the licensing agreement, even though Ubisoft shuffles in the chain.
We’re really proud of the games we have created with EA. We will continue working with them and our relationship has never been stronger. While we may not have a lot of details to share at the moment, we’ve got a number of projects underway with the talented teams at EA.
Being first in the franchise and based on its success, it is possible that Respawn Entertainment is currently working on a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen order sequel.
