Battleborn is a free-to-play first-person shooter video game developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game was released worldwide on May 3, 2016. However, due to mixed reviews and opinions, the servers will shut down this month.
Gearbox also gave Battleborn players the announcement in November 2019 to play as much of the game as they need to to give it a proper farewell. Battleborn servers will shut down on January 25th, and one developer isn’t handling the situation particularly well.
Battleborn's servers are going dark in just a few weeks. When they do, it'll be like the game never existed at all. All the work and love and blood that went into that game will disappear with it and I'm really heartbroken about it.

Aaron Linde however, isn’t in the worst of situations as he is the lead narrative designer at 343 Industries for their highly anticipated title, Halo: Infinite.
If you’ve never tried Battleborn or if you’ve always wanted to try it but never had the time, now is your only chance. The game is available for PC, Xbox One and PS4. It’s similar to Overwatch and Paladins, for those interested in actually trying it.
